Transient / Visiting / Take a credit class
If you’re a student at another college or university looking to take a credit class or two at Pellissippi State, you’re in the right place. Pellissippi State has pathways and agreements with many other higher education institutions to ensure your credits transfer seamlessly as you earn a degree. Talk to our Advising Office for more information about transferring credits to other institutions.
Reminder: Students who are not degree-seeking are not eligible for financial aid.
As part of the application process, you’ll need to provide
- Proof of immunization
- Proof of U.S. citizenship
- ACT or SAT scores (if applicable)
- A copy of your high school transcript, GED or other college transcript
After applying, you will receive an email with instructions for how to access myPellissippi. Be sure to check your myPellissippi regularly for updates.

You’re not required to complete an advising session before you register for classes, but our advisors are available if you’re interested. Once you complete your application to Pellissippi State, we’ll send instructions to your Pellissippi State email about how to log into the myPellissippi online portal — this is where you’ll check any holds on your account and register for classes.
