Advising

Make sure you meet with an advisor to discuss your academic goals, plan for a successful first semester, and register! Students frequently want to know: What to expect when meeting with my advisor? (PDF)

These forms are helpful as well.

Other Advising Information:

  • Will my courses transfer?
  • What will I do in class? Many of our syllabi are available online.

Not sure if you are ready to be advised? Call 694-6400 to find out your next step. Some students need to take a confirmation test to determine where to begin in reading, math and English. If you have attended another college, you need to request that those transcripts be sent to Pellissippi State before you see an advisor.
