Academic Advisement Information
Academic advisement is a communication and information sharing process during which students make planned decisions about their educational goals. During the first two semesters of enrollment, degree-seeking students must meet with an advisor who will work closely with them in planning their program and course sequence. Many faculty advisors are not available during breaks and the summer semester, but advisors are available in the Advising Center at these times. Students needing academic assistance are encouraged to seek help before their problems become critical.
