Student Care and Advocacy is Pellissippi State’s central contact to help students who have nonacademic issues arise while they’re on their educational journeys.
We believe in promoting students’ overall well-being and focus on issues around economic stability, housing, transportation, food access and health care.
Student Care and Advocacy’s mission is to provide holistic student support by connecting students to internal and external resources that address nonacademic barriers to success.
It’s our job to help students start, stay and finish strong.
Whether it’s a flat tire or lack of childcare, an overdue utility bill or an empty pantry, we are here to listen to students and help problem solve.
Student Care and Advocacy also helps connect students who want to help others through volunteer opportunities on campus and in the community.
You can contact us at sca@pstcc.edu. Requests for assistance can be made through myPellissippi.
