Characteristics of a Successful AHEAD Student

The successful AHEAD student:

Is highly self-motivated to complete tasks on time.
Is excited about learning at a fast pace.
Has a strong desire to complete the degree program in sixteen months as compared to approximately three years pursuing a degree in the conventional manner and can maintain focus on the long term goal.
Is willing to sacrifice personal time to the achievement of an important goal.
Has excellent time management skills.
Is open to learning collaboratively with other students.
Is enthusiastic about participating in class discussion/dialogue.
Has respect for and understands the importance of team work and is willing to commit whatever time is necessary to perform successfully in teams and in classes.
