'Lift Every Voice' By The Word Players

This one-act presentation in drama, song and dance tells the story of the Harlem Renaissance (1919-1930s) and celebrates its lasting influence.

 

Reception for Bobby Cain ("The Clinton 12")

February 27, 2:00 p.m., Goins Building College Center
This special reception honors Bobby Cain and the Clinton 12, a group of students who integrated the all-white Clinton High School in 1956. Cain and the other students are the subject of an award-winning documentary, “The Clinton 12.”

 

Festival of Cultures

We’ve decorated with flags, crafts and fashions from a variety of nations during this multicultural celebration. Add food, music, and dance to the mix and you’re guaranteed to enjoy this cultural exploration.
