2010 Pellissippi State Hot Air Balloon Festival

Not all balloon festivals feature a balloon glow… we're one of the few! Absolutely one of the most popular portions of the event, the nightly balloon glow features the balloons grouped around the pond, "glowing" to synchronized music. Our participating pilots take turns igniting the burners of their balloons to create the "glow," all to the sounds of musical accompaniment. Many of the pilots say it's one of their favorite portions of our festival. It's the perfect ending to a fall evening in East Tennessee! Be certain to have your cameras ready for the spectacular balloon glow.
