Twitter and Facebook Contests

We're giving away two certificates, good for one non-credit continuing education course each! There are two ways to win: First, help promote the event on Facebook or Twitter. The second way to win is by finding our Tweeter at this year's Hot Air Balloon Festival!

How to enter on Twitter

  1. Follow @HotAirFest on Twitter. If you don't have an account, you'll have to sign up.
  2. Copy and paste the following into a new Tweet:
    Follow and RT to win a free Non-Credit Continuing Ed Course from @HotAirFest! Details: http://bit.ly/hotaircontest
  3. That's it! We'll use Twitter Search to find everyone who Tweeted and Retweeted our message, and everyone participating gets an entry into the drawing!

How to enter on Facebook

  1. Become a Fan of the festival at http://bit.ly/hotairfacebook
  2. That's it! You've got one entry into the drawing. We'd appreciate it, too, if you would share the event with your Facebook Friends!

Find ThomasFind the Tweeter Contest!

Find our live tweeter Thomas, who will be running around Tweeting up the Festival on both Friday and Saturday. He'd love to meet you! Find Thomas Tweeting during the Festival to receive sweet Pellissippi State tchotchkies and an entry into the drawing for our second certificate! Here's how it works:
  1. Find Thomas during the Festival- He'll be there the entire time!
  2. Say "Hi" and mention either Twitter or Facebook.
  3. Give Thomas either your Twitter Handle or your full name, so we can find you later
  4. Receive a shout-out and a Pellissippi State "Gift Bag" full of rare Pellissippi artifacts! (While supplies last)
  5. You'll be entered into the drawing for the second certificate!

Winners receive a certificate good for one Non-Credit Continuing Education Course, sponsored by Business and Community Services. Valid through March 31, 2010. Value not to exceed $150.

Employees of Pellissippi State Foundation Office and their immediate families are ineligible for these drawings.

Winners will be selected at random and will be announced Monday, September 28, 2009. If certificate(s) remain unclaimed after 14 days, a new winner(s) will be selected.
