Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) presents material essential to the successful implementation of an ERP system. The course covers the historical evolution of ERP. It provides a foundation for understanding the process integration of business wide functions required and supported by an ERP implementation, as well as the benefits accrued from an implementation. In addition, the course addresses the strategic organizational considerations and requirements for creating and sustaining a learning organization that is receptive to change and to the placement of an ERP system in the supply chain. The course concludes with strategies and methodologies to execute and expand beyond an ERP implementation.
