STEAM Summer Camps:
Calling scholars ages 10 and up for science & technology camps at Pellissippi State

NEW PRICING: $395 $320 per week

Pellissippi State is one of five colleges nationwide partnering with the STEAM Society to offer summer STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) camps for kids.

Our STEAM summer camps provide fun and exciting ways to introduce students to careers in science and technology on a college campus. Hands-on classes engage learners in invention, game play or filmmaking; at the same time, students are reinforcing skills in physics and math, basic coding, or project management.

Minecraft Summer Camp - Use math and technology to dive deeper into the game as you engage in modding techniques, understand what makes the game work and learn creative game design!

Robotics Summer Camp - Explore the vast field of science and engineering through robotics as you conduct physics experiments and use your imagination to build a bot you'll take to a team competition!

Videography Summer Camp - Mix creative artistry with technical skills for an action-packed experience as you record and edit film to create and produce your own powerful videos for a film festival finale!

Camp fee ($320) includes daily lunch and a t-shirt. Early dropoff and pickup is available for an extra fee. Ages 10 and up.

Did You Get That on Film?
Don’t settle for shaky, amateur phone videos. Technology has advanced so far that you’re almost carrying a miniature film studio in your pocket. We’ll work with the built-in camera on your cell phone to capture better videos, and once you’re on your way to becoming a bona fide film producer, we’ll incorporate using apps for even more special effects. Bring a friend or the whole family for this week-long summer class — all you need is a smart phone with a camera.
