Computers -HAAS TECHNICAL CENTER
As an authorized Haas Technical Center (HTC) for Haas Automation, Inc., Pellissippi State Technical Community College offers classes in basic CNC Theory and Haas/Fanuc style controller functions, manual data input (MDI), and tooling set-ups. Both courses are structured to accommodate students who are new to CNC and those with CNC experience who wish to learn basic Haas/Fanuc style controller operations. For convenience, these courses are offered on consecutive days, however; students that already possess knowledge of CNC basics and Gcodes may wish to take only the Haas/Fanuc training.
Students should have a basic knowledge of standard machining practices. No materials are required; however, students may wish to bring pencil and paper for taking notes.
