Introduction to Word

This course is an introduction to the usefulness of Microsoft™ Word. The course covers the different functions that Word offers the user, and how to effectively manage Word as a tool. This course is appropriate for any individual beginning to use Word as a word processor. Items covered include: the basics of entering text; file, save and save as commands; opening, editing and saving documents; navigating, scrolling, and searching in a document; editing and auto correct feature; selecting, moving and copying text; character and paragraph formatting; using tabs, tables; manipulating page appearance with headers and footers, margins, and page breaks; using tools; and printing on envelopes and labels.
