THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY, BROUGHT TO YOU BY PELLISSIPPI STATE
Six courses can prepare you for a construction industry career or expand your existing construction knowledge: Introduction to Construction Blueprint Reading uses classroom lecture combined with hands-on exercises to teach the basics of trade-related blueprint reading. Construction Cost Estimating is a must for students who already read blueprints but want to learn to price jobs based on material quantities, job specifications and labor costs. Cost Keeping for Contractors prepares participants to keep accurate and usable accounts of labor, equipment, materials, and payroll costs, as well as teaches small business management basic concepts. Residential Contractor Limited License is a state-approved contractor licensing course for individuals interested in a license up to $70,000 per structure and requires NO TESTING.

Residential or Commercial/ Industrial/Residential Contractor and Business and Law Examination Review is what you need to know to obtain a Tennessee Contractor's license, a Residential License, a Commercial/Industrial/Residential License, or a Business and Law License.

Started in Spring 2006, the Home Inspection Licensing Course offers the 90 hours of home inspector training required toward licensure as a Tennessee Home Inspector. For more information, call (865) 539-7167.
