ServSafe® Food Safety
The ServSafe® program provides the resources to help keep food safety as an essential ingredient in every meal. This ServSafe® food handlers’ course meets the requirements for manager certification in the food service industry. The course provides food safety information that can be utilized in food service, day cares, schools, etc. Certification is achieved by passing an approved multi-choice exam, and a ServSafe® certificate is given upon successful completion. The instructor is Kashi Farmer, Food Scientist and owner of White Glove Restaurant Solutions™. Certification is valid for five years. A photo ID is required for the exam.

Thomson Prometric Food Safety Management
This course provides food operators and managers with information needed to prevent food-borne disease incidents. Course topics include HACCP, risk assessment concepts, food-borne diseases, sources of contamination, personal hygiene, safe handling practices, sanitation and pest control. You must pass the standardized Thomson Prometric test for certification.
An additional $60 fee is payable in class for textbook (Food Safety Management Principles, 2nd Edition) and test fee. A photo ID is required in class for the test. The test can be taken in various languages if request is made two weeks before test date.

Tennessee Estate Planning—It's Not Just Having a Will!
Having only a will does not adequately protect our loved ones. This two-session course will discuss the need to plan for disability, as well as death, and the legal documents necessary to accomplish those objectives. The probate process will also be discussed, to consider the potential outcome of failing to plan for death and disability, and the course will end with a brief discussion of state and federal death taxes.
