Pellissippi State hosts auditions for ‘Handler’

Pellissippi State Community College will host auditions for its production of “Handler” on Wednesday, Jan. 19, and Thursday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Clayton Performing Arts Center on the Pellissippi Campus on Hardin Valley Road.

“Handler” is a haunting story of faith, fear, and love. The play is written by Robert Schenkkan, winner of the 1992 Pulitzer Prize for “The Kentucky Cycle.”

Roles are available for 15 male and female actors ages 18-60. The audition is open to all area actors. Those auditioning will be asked to do a cold reading from the script and to bring a recent headshot or photo.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, Jan. 31, with performances running March 25 through April 3.
