Do you need to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language to enter college? If so, the Adult Education Program at Pellissippi State Community College can help by offering free TOEFL preparation.
Students are given a practice test to evaluate their needs. The preparation includes all areas of the test: listening, grammar and sentence structure, reading, and essay writing. Adults from non-English-speaking countries are required to take the TOEFL for admission to most college programs.
TOEFL preparation is available Monday and Wednesday, 5:30-8 p.m., at the Pellissippi Campus, 10915 Hardin Valley Road, in Room 330 of the Educational Resources Center. Pre-registration is not required. Students can call (865) 539-7109 for more information.
