Starting on Feb. 28, Blount Countians will have four days to bag bargains during the Faculty Senate Book Sale at Pellissippi State Community College’s Blount County Campus.
In addition to books, shoppers can purchase CDs, DVDs, videos, vinyl records, magazines, calendars, puzzles and computer games. Most items range in price from 50 cents to $4.
Since its inception 29 years ago, the Faculty Senate Book Sale has raised more than $89,000. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Pellissippi State Foundation, with proceeds going toward student scholarships.
The sale is conducted at all of Pellissippi State’s four campus locations. Dates and hours of operation vary.
Sale dates and times at the Blount County Campus, 2731 W. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., are as follows:
- Feb. 28-March 2, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- March 3, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
Sale dates and times at Pellissippi State’s Knox County campuses are as follows:
- March 2-3, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Division Street Campus, 3435 Division St.
- March 2-3, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Magnolia Avenue Campus, 1610 E. Magnolia Ave.
- March 16-17, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Pellissippi Campus, 10915 Hardin Valley Road
Attendees may park for free in visitor lots at all locations.
