Pellissippi State offers ACT preparation for incoming freshmen

Those planning to go to Pellissippi State Community College fall 2011 have the opportunity to improve their ACT scores.

The college will offer free ACT prep workshops on March 7 and 9 that provide an excellent opportunity to brush up on academic skills before taking or retaking the ACT. Attendees will get ACT tips, sample questions and study aids, and math, English and science skills will be reviewed.

Participants must complete the admissions application—located at www.pstcc.edu/admissions/apply.html —and pay the $20 non-refundable application fee in order to attend the workshop.
