The event takes place April 6, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Magnolia Avenue Campus of Pellissippi State Community College, 1610 E. Magnolia Ave.
The job fair is free for both employers and job seekers. The campus also offers free parking. Past participating employers have praised the quality of applicants as well as the convenient location, according to Cynthia Manning-Dirl, Career Center director.
This spring’s event promises to be one of the biggest yet, she says, with a number of full-time, part-time and seasonal positions available in business and technology, sales, customer and financial services, health care, food service, and the skilled trades.
Since 2002, the Career Center has provided workforce development services—including job postings and referral services, applicant screening, resume and cover letter assistance, and other employment skills workshops—to connect employers and job seekers.
