When Pellissippi State Community College opened its state-of-the-art Blount County Campus in the fall, students benefited from more classroom space and the community gained a spacious new venue for public events.
Case in point: the upcoming Blount County Campus Health and Wellness Fair, scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on April 20.
This is the first year of the fair, which is open to the public. Exhibitors plan to offer free blood pressure checks, spinal evaluations, massage therapy and demonstration of self-defense techniques, as well as information on addiction prevention, fire safety, herbal therapy and other healthy lifestyle resources.
The Blount County Campus is located at 2731 W. Lamar Alexander Pkwy. (U.S. 321).
