Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for two-year colleges, recently hosted an induction ceremony for 119 new members at Pellissippi State Community College. As part of the day’s activities, PTK members led discussions on such topics as leadership styles, health screenings for adults, campus recycling and literacy in the community. Former Pellissippi State PTK president and current University of Tennessee student Mary Denman spoke during the induction ceremony.
