Former Blount County Campus

The deadline to accept bids to purchase the property that housed the former Blount County Campus of Pellissippi State Community College has been extended to August 25, 2011. The state of Tennessee is requesting sealed bids for the purchase of the commercial property and school facility located at 1010 Middlesettlements Road in Alcoa/Maryville.

The 32,000 square foot building sits on 12.03 acres. It will be sold “as is.” An additional 3.31 acre vacant lot is included in the sale. However, permits will have to be issued through TDOT for an access to this tract.

The state will now accept sealed bids until 1 p.m. CDT on August 25. Bids should be submitted to Andrea Maholland, Real Property Management, 22nd Floor, 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Nashville, TN 37243. The state reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

The college recently built a new campus on the Lamar Alexander Parkway and opened for classes for the fall 2010 semester.

To request a bid package or for more information, please contact Maholland at 615.741.4221.
