Need a second chance at finishing high school? Last year 900 people got the free help they needed from the Adult Education Program at Pellissippi State Community College.
The Adult Education Program offers classes to help prepare you for the GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
“If you live in the Knoxville area, earning your GED can be easy,” according to Joan Newman, director of Adult Education and academic testing. “Many people earn a GED in only two or three weeks. If you need to finish high school, do it now. Open the doors to a brighter future.”
Students may start at any time, and classes are offered at a number of locations in the Knoxville area, both during the day and in the evenings. Anyone 17 or older is eligible for the classes, which use small-group and individualized instruction, computer tutorials and printed materials to help participants achieve their personal, educational and career goals.
