The exhibit is free to attend. The gallery is located at 10915 Hardin Valley Road and is open 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. A reception to meet the artists will be held 3-5 p.m., Oct. 16.

Holdenried and Tipton create works filled with texture, color and richness. Explore the contrasts between Tipton’s realism and Holdenried’s abstraction, as well as the movement in each painting that unites the work of the two artists.

The Holdenried and Tipton exhibit is part of The Arts at Pellissippi State, an annual arts series that includes music and theatre performances, cultural celebrations, lectures and fine arts exhibits.
