The Marketing and Communications Office recently brought home top honors in two categories of the 2014 Tennessee College Public Relations Association Communications Awards competition.
Winning a gold in the Brochure/Flier category was the 2013 booklet for The Arts at Pellissippi State. “Inside Pellissippi” won a silver in Electronic Newsletter.
“The Arts at Pellissippi State booklet relies heavily on event photography, which makes it attractive and lively,” said Mark Friebus, creative project coordinator and designer of the publication. “The piece itself was designed to be artistic so it would showcase the creativity and talent in the arts events.”
Erin Simpson, coordinator of Web authoring services, said this about the electronic newsletter she designs: “‘Inside Pellissippi’ provides readers a one-stop communications source for internal news at Pellissippi State. The design is simple, and the publication is designed to be easy to read and quick to navigate, while still featuring fun and interactive multimedia.”
