mitosis, Mendelian inheritance), survey of plant kingdom (bacteria, algae, fungi,
mosses, ferns, conifers, and flowering plants).
Plant growth, anatomy, growth regulation; uptake and transport; origin of
life and mechanism of evolution; ecology, importance to humans and environmental
concerns.
