Cohort Programs

So you want to be a teacher? At Pellissippi State, it's possible!

A.S.T. Evening Cohort

Pellissippi State offers the Associate of Science in Teaching (A.S.T.) in an accelerated evening cohort at the Magnolia Avenue Campus. Students in the cohort complete the A.S.T. degree in two years (six semesters) of evening classes. Most courses are five weeks. Most meet on Tuesdays, with some meeting on Thursdays, 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Check out the accelerated A.S.T. evening schedule for fall 2013!

Blount County Campus and Magnolia Avenue Campus A.S.T. Traditional Path Cohorts

Pellissippi State is offering A.S.T. Traditional Path Cohorts at the Blount County Campus and the Magnolia Avenue Campus this fall 2012. Students complete the A.S.T. degree in two years attending classes as a cohort. This means you will start and complete the A.S.T. degree with the same group of students—students just like you, who want to be a K-6 teacher.
