Pellissippi State Faculty Senate book sale set for mid-March
The annual book sale hosted by the Faculty Senate of Pellissippi State Technical Community College is scheduled for mid-March, and thousands of books priced from 50 cents to $3 will be available.Proceeds from the sale, which is open to the public, go to the Pellissippi State Foundation to provide funds for Faculty Senate student scholarships.
The event offers textbooks, general interest books, tapes, CDs and DVDs. Sale dates are as follows:
- Blount County Center, March 12-14, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Division Street Campus, March 13-14, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Magnolia Avenue Campus, March 14, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Pellissippi Campus, March 19-20, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
“This was an opportunity for students to develop ad campaigns, which includes coming up with a theme, posters and a contest idea for the event,” said Lisa Bogaty, an associate professor in Business and Computer Technology.
