2007 Career Fair planned April 4 in McWherter Building

Students interested in steering their career in the right direction as they seek employment can meet potential employers and learn about hiring prospects during Pellissippi State’s 2007 Career Fair April 4.

The event is scheduled 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the McWherter Building on the Pellissippi Campus. As many as 40-50 private and public employers are expected to be represented, and the event should benefit students seeking full-time employment, summer internships and part-time jobs.

Students are encouraged to bring several copies of their resume to the Career Fair, which is sponsored by the Placement Office and is being promoted by the Event Marketing class.

The class is sponsoring a Resume Writing Workshop for interested students March 27 noon -1 in the Goins Auditorium. Carolyn Carson, director of Placement, will present.
