Mental Health Awareness Day at Pellissippi Campus April 15
How can you help someone who is depressed or even suicidal?
Students, faculty and staff can learn how at Mental Health Awareness Day April 15. Information about local mental health agencies, depression, addictions and other mental health issues will be available in the Goins Student Lounge 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
You can even attend a special session by the University of Tennessee Counseling Services on suicide prevention. “QPR” (question, persuade, refer) will take place two times: at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. in Alexander 206.
