Prospective students and parents invited to open house

Pellissippi State Technical Community College is hosting a “Pellissippi Preview” on Jan. 31. Prospective students and their parents are invited to attend the college’s open house from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the Pellissippi Campus on Hardin Valley Road.

College representatives will share information about degree programs, provide assistance with applying for scholarships and financial aid and give campus tours. In addition, faculty will be on hand to answer questions about courses in more than 100 majors and certificate programs .

Priscilla Gitschlag, admissions coordinator, says there is an added bonus for those who attend “Pellissippi Preview.” Prospective students will be entered into a drawing for two $250 scholarships offered through the Pellissippi State Foundation. The recipients will be chosen that evening.
