New Student Orientation set for January 13

Students coming to Pellissippi State for the first time in January are being encouraged to take part in a spring semester orientation January 13, beginning at 8:45 a.m.

The session will cover such topics as how to be successful in college, campus life and recreational opportunities, dates and deadlines, e-mail accounts and computer usage. College administrators also will explain financial aid opportunities and degree programs.

The orientation, which takes place in the Goins Building Auditorium, will include a tour of the campus, a session for parents and lunch for all participants.
