Favorite things outside work: Playing handbells,
swimming, painting, dancing.

rewarding part of your job: Positive interaction with
students and faculty; being understood.
Most influential person in your life and why:
My father, because he taught me to be thorough in inquiry and
investigation before reaching my own conclusions.
