Inside Pellissippi

Downtown exhibit features student work

Learn about Knoxville’s Sunsphere in a short documentary, browse photography and graphic design pieces for sale, and view Web site designs. Pellissippi State’s Media Technologies exhibit at the Art Market Gallery, February 27-March 10, will feature these and much more.

The event will showcase a variety of student work from the College’s Media Technologies program’s four concentrations—Communication Graphics Technology, Photography, Video Production Technology and Web Technology.

An opening reception will take place March 2, 5-9 p.m., at the gallery’s “First Friday” event, which honors featured artists and special exhibits. The public is invited to attend, and light refreshments will be served.

The Art Market Gallery is a cooperative space representing more than 60 area artists and craftspeople. The gallery is located at 422 S. Gay Street in downtown Knoxville. For hours and directions, visit www.artmarketgallery.net or call 525-5265.

Contact Linda Randolph at 694-6522 or lrandolph@pstcc.edu for more information about the event.
