Family members: Wife (Boots), 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 7 grandchildren

Something no one knows about you: I flew 332 combat missions in A-4 and A-6 aircraft.

Greatest achievement or proudest moment: I was the commanding officer of a United States Marine Corps A-6 squadron (12 aircraft, 30 aircrews, 300 Marines).

Favorite things outside work: My grandchildren.

Most rewarding part of your job: Seeing someone succeed who has struggled.

Most Influential Person in your life and why: My dad (my role model)—with him, what you see is what you get, nothing phony.

Favorite quote: “If it ain’t broke—don’t FIX it!”
