Pellissippi Faculty Council book sale coming in February, March
The Pellissippi State Faculty Council's annual mid-winter book sale is scheduled in late February and early March, and donations of books, tapes and music are now being accepted.
The council welcomes donated new and used books for the sale, which provides funds for student scholarships. The sale, which is open to the public, offers both texts and general interest books, tapes, CDs and DVDs.
Donations to any of the four campuses can be left with Brenda Ammons (981-5340) for the Blount County Center, Nancy Pevey (971-5237) for the Division Street campus or Linda Streebeck (329-3119) for the Magnolia Avenue campus. Materials also can be donated at the Alexander and McWherter buildings for the main Pellissippi campus. Those who want to contribute large quantities of books can call 539-7053 to have them picked up.
Sale dates and times are as follows:
- Blount County, Feb. 21 and 22, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Feb. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
