Employee Assistance Program offers supervisor training and seminar on change

The Employee Assistance Program is presenting a seminar, “Rocking and Rolling through Changes,” and training for supervisors March 12 in the Goins Auditorium.

Supervisor training is 9-11 a.m., and the seminar is 11-noon.

The training will provide practical information and techniques to help supervisors recognize warning signs of potential employee problems. Participants also will pick up tools to accurately document work performance.

“Rocking and Rolling Through Changes” will cover methods to understanding change and responding positively.

The EAP is provided through the Insurance Administration to offer employees and their dependents short-term, confidential, solutions-focused consultation and counseling for all types of personal issues, including stress, parenting, child and elder care, grief and loss, and depression. The program also offers financial services and legal consultation.
