Dr.William
Bass, world-renowned forensic anthropologist and founder
of the “Body Farm,” will describe some of his
work and research in a presentation at Pellissippi State

Scholarship
deadline approaching
Faculty
members are asked to remind students that scholarship deadlines
for the 2005-06 school year are approaching. Scholarship
applications that are in by March 15 will have top priority

Third
trip to Spain scheduled in May
“Salamanca
to the Sea,” a 10-day trip to explore the culture
and heritage of Spain, is planned in late May for Pellissippi
State students and friends. (more)
2005
Career Fair planned March 2 in McWherter
The
event is scheduled 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the McWherter
Building on the Pellissippi Campus. As many as 40 private
and public employers are expected to be represented, and
the event should benefit students who are seeking full-time
employment, summer internships and part-time jobs.

TVA
donates $5,000 to Pellissippi State Foundation
The
Tennessee Valley Authority donated the funds in early
February to help strengthen the quality of technical education
at the College. The funds are to support Engineering and
Media Technology in developing the Techno-Van. (more)

Press moves to a ‘blog’ and online newsfeeds
It’s been two years now since you
could find a copy of the student newspaper around the
Pellissippi State campus. No newspaper racks. No scattered
pages in the Student Lounge. No stacks in the Cafeteria.
