Scholarship deadline approaching

Faculty members are asked to remind students that scholarship deadlines for the 2005-06 school year are approaching.

Information on the numerous Pellissippi State scholarships is available at the Financial Aid Office, or it can be obtained by going to “Financial Aid Forms” on the Pellissippi State Financial Aid Web site. The 2005-06 scholarship application and accompanying scholarship letter of recommendation form can be printed out from the Web site.

Scholarship applications that are in by March 15 will have top priority for consideration.

In addition to meeting the deadline for the scholarship applications, students wanting the greatest range of financial assistance opportunities should have their 2005-06 Free Application for Federal Student Aid processed by the first week in March.

For more information on scholarships and other financial assistance, students are encouraged to visit the Financial Aid Office.
