Coburn
named director of industrial, contract training
Brad Coburn has been named the director of
industrial and contract training. His position is in the

Drama students will perform “The Vagina Monologues”

Student
artist, Richard Olowoyo (left), was on hand for a Meet the
Artist reception February 20. His sketches have been displayed
in the Goins Rotunda as part of Black History Month. The
other artwork on display is a collection owned by student
Diana Wenta (right).
Entertainer Michael Peterson entertained
an audience of Pellissippi State students, faculty and staff
February 21 in the Goins Auditorium. His “My Real
Life” tour features music, world class illusionists
and stories to motivate people across the nation to explore
new and exciting ways to build stronger communities. Peterson
is a Grammy and CMA award nominee. His songs include: “Drink,
Swear, Steal and Lie,” and “From Here to Eternity.”

responsibilities: I’m responsible for a
newly formed division that encompasses many of our College’s
services (Student Success), enrollment and the site campuses.
The office in which I serve is also charged with handling
judicial affairs and our Commencement ceremonies. I continue
to serve as an assistant dean at our Division Street Campus,
too.
