Blount County Center to host AAUW presentation on women’s accomplishments

Blount County Center will host the Maryville Branch of the American Association of University Women’s monthly meeting and a special presentation in celebration of women’s accomplishments March 13, 7 p.m., in the Student Lounge.

The guest speaker for the evening will be Barbara Mintz, AAUW of Tennessee’s Educational Foundation chair. In addition, the drama group Troupe de Blount will present “A Dramatization of the First National Women’s Rights Convention.”

The event is open to Pellissippi State faculty, staff and students, as well as the general public.
