Enrollment hits second consecutive all-time high

For the second semester in a row, Pellissippi State has experienced its highest semester enrollment ever.

The number of credit-seeking students enrolled spring 2007 is 7,877 students, up 7.65 percent from spring 2006. The college also enjoyed a record enrollment fall semester.

“We are excited about the growing numbers of new students, as well as about the increased number of students who are nearing degree completion,” said Anthony Wise. Wise is department head of Liberal Arts and interim vice president for Academic and Student Affairs.
