honored 14 graduates at a special dinner March 22 at the

State hosts regional middle school math competition April
8
Square roots, integers, fractions and multipliers by the
dozens will be the order of the day April 8, as middle schoolers
who know their numbers participate in the fourth annual
Tennessee Middle School Mathematics Competition. (more)

A series of three workshops for high school and college
students on how to improve study habits will be offered

Web degree partnership created at Pellissippi State, Tennessee
Tech
The state Department of Education and the Tennessee Technology
Centers have signed an agreement with Pellissippi State
and Tennessee Technological University to accelerate degree
completion in certain Web-related fields. (more)
High-performance
computing, computer security conference planned for May
The third National Conference on High Performance Computing
Technology will take place in Knoxville in late May, bringing
public and private computer systems managers from around
the country to learn about the latest advances in high-performance
computer systems clusters and computer security. (more)
