Easterly gives presentation at foreign languages conference
Joan Easterly, professor in Liberal Arts who teaches French and film studies, will present at the Central States Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages in Dearborn, Michigan, on April 3. Easterly's presentation is titled "So How Was the Movie? Cinema for French Conversation."
This is an updated version of a presentation she gave at last year's Tennessee Foreign Language Teaching Association (TFLTA) Annual Conference. After that presentation, the TFLTA Committee on Best of Tennessee chose her to represent Tennessee at the Central States Conference (CSC) in 2004. Easterly submitted her presentation to the CSC and it was accepted.
