May 5 at Thompson-Boling Arena on the University of Tennessee

Francisco
joins Oxford Round Table
Is there a dramatic split in education between arts and
humanities and science and mathematics?
Ed Francisco, associate professor and writer in residence
at Pellissippi State, will address this and other issues
as part of the Oxford Round Table at Harris Manchester

Education program earns national honors
Pellissippi State’s Teacher Education
program in math and science was recently honored with
a national Best Practices in Teacher Preparation Award.

‘Phantom
of the Opera’ featured in Spring Choral Concert
Ten
Pellissippi State students will perform solos from Andrew
Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom of the Opera”
in this year’s Spring Choral Concert April 25 at
8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The solos are a

Local marketing professionals will share
their knowledge of direct mail marketing and hosting an
international event when they speak at Pellissippi State

Magnolia
Avenue Campus hosts book discussion
A discussion will take place on April 18 of the Earnest
J. Gaines book "A Lesson Before Dying" in the Community
Room at the Magnolia Avenue Campus. It begins at noon.
The facilitators are Candice Dendy, assistant professor
of the English and Naomi Williams, ERC coordinator at
Magnolia Avenue.

Technologies showcases student work
The Media Technologies program will feature
several events this month and in September to showcase
