Inside Pellissippi

Final seminar scheduled in spring marketing series

Local marketing professionals will share their knowledge of direct mail marketing and hosting an international event when they speak at Pellissippi State April 12.

Ann Staup, president of Direct Mail Services in Knoxville, and Kathleen G. Metts, president and principal owner of Impact Associates in Maryville, will speak at the “Masters of Corporate Marketing” seminar at 2 p.m. in the Goins Auditorium.

Staup will talk about the role mailing houses can play in marketing, and Metts will discuss what it takes to host an international event.

“Masters of Corporate Marketing” is the last of three seminars in the American Marketing Association collegiate chapter’s spring seminar series. Earlier presentations included “Getting a Job” and “Masters of Media.”

“The PSAMA seminar series features the true movers and shakers of East Tennessee’s marketing community. Thanks to their support, business students at Pellissippi State are learning how marketing is executed in East Tennessee and networking with professionals at the top of their game,” said Lisa Bogaty, associate professor, E-Commerce/Marketing.

The public is invited to the free seminar, and refreshments will be served.
