Murder mystery game to involve audience at Blount County Center

A wicked murder mystery game that invites guests to join in the proceedings will unfold April 16 at the Blount County Center.

"Murder at the Four Deuces," set in the Roaring '20s, will be presented by Pellissippi State's Drama Club at 6 p.m. in the Student Lounge on Middlesettlements Road in Alcoa. The evening also will include an Italian dinner and live jazz. Cosponsor is the Council of Student Advocates.

In staging the play, the Drama Club encourages audience members to come dressed as gangsters, politicians, singers and gamblers and help solve the mystery. "Murder at the Four Deuces" is an interactive game in which audience members get to guess who the murderer is. The audience will be given "money" at the door and invited to join in the story's treachery, blackmail, deceit and intrigue.

Tickets are $10 in advance for students and senior citizens; $15 in advance for faculty, staff and the public; and $20 on the evening of the performance.
