Foundation sets Artique fundraiserKnox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and his wife, Claudia, will host this year's annual Artique, a fine arts and antique auction to benefit the Pellissippi State Foundation.
Artique will feature both a live and a silent auction that will give the public an opportunity to purchase a variety of artwork from some of the best-known artists in the region. They will also be able to bid on an eclectic mix of international antiques. In addition to the auction, Artique guests will enjoy dinner and music. A percentage of the art and antique sales, plus proceeds from ticket sales, will go toward the Nursing Program and Greatest Need Fund. “This is going to be a special evening,” said Peggy Wilson, vice president of College Advancement and executive director of the Foundation. “We're excited to have the Ragsdales lend their support to Pellissippi State and its fundraising efforts. I'm also pleased with the fantastic collection of art and antiques that we've assembled for the event. I think the guests will be pleased with the selection.”
Tickets are $50 for faculty and staff and are available from the Foundation through May 7.
