WBIR-TV anchor Robin Wilhoit is the emcee when Pellissippi State
goes public April 17 with the largest
major fundraising initiative in the College’s 33-year history. (more)

State makes ‘elite eight’ in regional competition
to build a robot
Pellissippi State recently made it to the “elite eight,”
the last eight in an elimination round, in a regional competition
calling for participants to build a robot that plays basketball.
The College was one of only three two-year schools to enter.

Students in Media Technologies’ Communication Graphics
Technology concentration will exhibit some of their best
work at the CGT Student Design Showcase April 26 in the

event at Pellissippi State features Scripps executive
Susan Packard, president of Brand Outreach for Scripps Networks,
is the featured speaker of an April 19 MediaWorks!07 event
at Pellissippi State. The free
presentation is 7-8 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.

Combined show for quilters, crafters premieres at the College
Lovers of fine arts, crafts and quilts will enjoy an array
of original designs on May 18-20, when the Foothills Craft
Guild and the Smoky Mountain Quilters of Tennessee host
their first-ever combined spring show at Pellissippi State.

Health Check returns to Pellissippi State
The College will host Covenant Health Check 2007 on the Pellissippi
Campus April 18. Hours are 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Goins Student
Lounge.
