Shakespeare Night April 24 at Magnolia Avenue Campus

Brutus will betray Caesar in the forum, Romeo and Juliet will find love on the balcony—and the audience will witness the drama.

The performances take place at Shakespeare Night in the Courtyard on the Magnolia Avenue Campus April 24 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend the event.

The Magnolia Avenue Campus Drama Club will present scenes from “Julius Caesar,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Macbeth,” “The Merchant of Venice” and “Hamlet,” said Rick Patton, associate English professor and club sponsor.
Katie Cole, club president, plays Brutus and also serves as one of the witches in “Macbeth.”

“I really think it will expose the campus to more of a classic sense of drama,” she said.

Admission and parking are free, and refreshments will be served during intermission. For more information, call Rick Patton at 329-3134.
